Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs
What is North Coast Pathway?
North Coast Pathway is a Special Assistance School that provides tailored education and support for students in Years 9-10 who are disengaged or disadvantaged. We focus on helping students reconnect with their education and community, preparing them for a successful future.
Who is eligible to enrol at North Coast Pathway?
Our school is designed for students in Years 9-10 who have struggled in traditional educational settings. We welcome students who may be disengaged, facing social or academic challenges, or looking for some additional support in their learning environment.
What makes North Coast Pathway different from other schools?
Other schools often look at the cohort as a whole, with a lack of empathy for the individual student. At North Coast Pathway, we see the student before we see the larger group, and aim to tailor our teaching to the needs of each person.
What support services are available to students?
We provide a range of support services, including individualised learning plans, counseling, mental health support, and peer mentorship programs. Our team is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where students can succeed academically and personally.
How does the enrolment process work?
Enrolling at North Coast Pathway starts with a friendly meeting where we chat with the student and their family about their needs and goals. After that, if the student is accepted, we help begin the enrolment process and get everything ready for a great start to the school year. Find more about our Enrolments process here.
